Description
The Beatles were an English rock band formed in Liverpool in 1960. They became regarded as the greatest and most influential act of the rock era. Their enormous popularity emerged as "Beatlemania", and in 1964 they had become international stars leading the "British Invasion" into the US market. "The Beatles 20 Greatest Hits" is a compilation album featuring number one singles in the UK and in the US. It was released in 1982 marking the 20th Anniversary of The Beatles' first record released in the UK. For the US LP (catalog #SV 12245), a five-minute edited version of "Hey Jude" was used due to time constraints. The original issues of this album accidentally indicates the running time of "Yesterday" as being 1:04 in length, later issues have the corrected 2:04 running time. This copy shows 1:04. The cover is in very good+ condition. The vinyl is in excellent condition and comes in the original photo inner sleeve. Capitol Records purple label. Thank you for looking.
