Description
Up for sale is this original authentic just peeled 3rd State mono Butcher Cover of The Beatles “Yesterday And Today” issued in late June of 1966 in The United States. This is the best peeled cover I have ever done of the more than 25 I have peeled over the last forty years of collecting The Beatles. The trunk slick came off in one piece. The Beatles faces on the banned Butcher slick look in perfect unseen for over 50 years shape with the usual glue lines on these east coast covers manufactured in Scranton. The only problems I had with the peel are a few small areas on the left side. The cover has a few seam splits & flaking wear to the edges. The matching east coast mono record is in very good condition with usual light play wear. Also included is the original golden rod Capital Records inner sleeve also in very good condition. Yes the original complete trunk slick with a few tape repairs is also included. This 3rd State Butcher Cover would look fantastic in a professional frame. This 3rd State mono Butcher Cover had to be relisted due to non-payment. Thanks Frank
