Auctioning a lot of original mono LPs from the Beatles. These album have clear wear in both the cover and vinyl but are at a minimum good starter copies and very enjoyable listens.
Meet the Beatles - Original mono first pressing. This LP is a solid original copy. Light scratches visible but no major scratches that should cause skips. Expect surface noise during quiet parts but this album plays great! Cover has some splitting at seams. Spine is in good condition. Name written on front cover and on record.
Beatles Second Album - Original mono first pressing. Great copy! No splitting at seams or spine. Some staining on cover but nothing drastic. Record shows light scratches but nothing major. Solid copy for an album that was manufactured and sold 55 years ago! (original record insert included)
Introducing the Beatles - Original mono first pressing. This LP is a solid original copy. Light scratches visible but no major scratches that should cause skips. Expect surface noise during quiet parts. Cover is pretty intact with the start of splits on seams (nothing major yet but be careful). Spine is in good condition. LP 1062 (original record insert included). Name written on back cover.
Something New - Original mono first pressing. Solid copy! Sound tested side 1... sounds great! Light surface noise but nothing that bothers the listening experience. No splitting at seams or spine. Very sturdy cover. Name written at top of front cover. Record shows light scratches but nothing major. (original record insert included)
Beatles '65 - The record and cover are pretty beaten up. Cover has staining and splitting. However, I did a sound test over the most beat up area of the record and it played through without skips... definitely some snap crackle pop but playable. (Consider this one a throw in) (original record insert included)
*** I sound tested a few sides of this lot and these are excellent starter copies. Not for the perfectionist collector.
When you are playing these records you are hearing 50+ years of history!
