KT tax code on Side 1 label
Yellow Parlophone and label logo, silver writing on black labels.'Sold in the UK subject to resale price conditions' on labels above spindle hole.
'The Gramophone Co. Ltd' around the rim of the label at 9 o'clock.
'Made in Gt. Britain' on labels at 6 o'clock.
Front laminated Ernest J. Day & Co. Ltd. sleeve with three rear flip-backs.
EMI inner sleeve with adverts for other EMI LPs, with curved corners.
The Vinyl is in Very Good+ condition. Glossy vinyl and great audio.There is a surface mark on Side 1 track 1 which has no effect on the excellent sound. There are some other light surface marks and the occasional light crackle during quieter passages of music but the LP plays as excellent.
The front laminated flipback sleeve is in Very Good+ condition. Mostly Excellent+ with glossy laminate and crisp, clean spine and edges. Graded as VG+ as there is a small tear near the top right of the front cover on the edge of the sleeve opening (see photo).
Both labels are clean and unmarked.
The original EMI paper inner sleeve has two small tears on the sleeve opening.

I ALWAYS PLACE THE RECORD OUTSIDE THE OUTER SLEEVE TO ENSURE THERE IS NO DAMAGE TO THE SLEEVE IN TRANSIT. I ONLY USE THE HIGHEST GRADE PACKAGING TO ENSURE THE RECORDS ARRIVE IN THE CONDITION I STATE IN MY LISTINGS.
Grading
I grade all my records using the Record Collector's Grading System which is as follows:
Mint - The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
Excellent - The record shows signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good - The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good - The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits discoloration etc.
Fair - The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/ or defaced.
Poor - The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
