NM    An almost flawless record that appears to have seen very little or no play.

EX     A very attractive record that has seen limited play & has been well cared for.
VG+  Some small surface marks and possibly very light scratches but still a nice record. 
VG    More surface marks & light scratches but no deep gouges or major defects.  
G      Heavy wear is evident & it has extensive marks/scratches but plays through ok.
