Description

Up for auction an absolutely STUNNING copy of The Beatles first British greatest hits album, A Collection of Beatles Oldies!
I don't think I can find this particular pressing on Discogs!
This album is 1960s U.K. pressing on the Yellow and Black Parlophone with the "Sold in U.K" and "Gramophone Co LTD" print on the label. This is the stereo edition of the album.
The cover is crisp and clean. It looks like it was printed Yesterday (pun intended)! No yellowing at all! The white on the flip back sleeve shows no yellowing at all. I give it an Excellent grading.
The vinyl is in superb condition. I give it a VG+ grading.
The original inner sleeve featuring other EMI acts of the time like Pink Floyd, Cilla Black and The Scaffold is also included. The sleeve looks crisp, white and hardly used. I give the sleeve a VG+ grading.
This is the album that EMI issued after Revolver but before Sgt. Pepper for the 1966 Christmas season. Some of these songs make their first appearance in stereo on this compilation! "Bad Boy" made its first appearance for the U.K. buying public on this compilation.
Side one: 1) She Loves You 2) From Me To You 3) We Can Work It Out 4) Help! 5) Michelle 6) Yesterday 7) I Feel Fine 8) Yellow Submarine
Side two:  1) Can't Buy Me Love 2) Bad Boy 3) Day Tripper 4) A Hard Day's Night 5) Ticket To Ride 6) Paperback Writer 7) Eleanor Rigby 8) I Want To Hold Your Hand
Let's start the opening bid low so this great Beatles record finds a good home! A must for any fan of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr! Bid now!
