THE BEATLES ( RARE 1966 UK 1st PRESS STEREO ISSUE , COMPLETE WITH CORRECT INNER SLEEVE AND EARLIEST ERNEST.J.DAY COVER , ALL IN SUPER CLEAN CONDITION.
A COLLECTION OF BEATLES OLDIES
Released December 9th 1966 this was the first UK compilation album that was approved by the band even though they had no input and were not happy about it ! Compilations had been released officialy and un-officialy in many countries but as christmas was coming , the band hadn't completed anything for release , hence the reason for this lp ! All the tracks had been released in some form in the UK apart from ' Bad Boy' , which was out in the U.S . Oddly their first 2 hits ' Love me do' and ' Please Please me ' were not included but does included many chart hit single releases plus more. A great compilation album with some interesting mixes and edits.

COVER
This is the rarer Ernest . J . Day tri-flapped cover with the stereo logo printed in the picture as opposed to the standard border location .Very clean and bright example with nothing more to fault than a couple of very small stress creases in the laminate. The front panel still retains a bright , glossy laminate with vibrant colour , on angled viewing there are several small creases visable , some are stress creases from the spine edge and a couple of thumb-push creases towards the opening edge, overall very nice .The spine is great shape with no cracking or worn areas and the corners all sharp and square .The rear panel is again very clean and bright with no nasty stains, writing or stickers present ! and the flaps are all intact and clean.Overall a superb example of this rare E.J.D variant ( see-pics ) EXCELLENT PLUS CONDITION !
VINYL
Both sides have a rich glossy shine with clear deep grooves and just pressed looks.Even under close , bright light inspection , nothing more visable than one tiny hairline and some wispy paper sleeve removal marks, super clean and fresh looking example. Both sides play through with clear , crisp , vibrant sound through both channels , no distractions on either side , easy to see and hear that this has been very well cared for and could have only recieved a couple of careful plays at most.Visualy both sides EXCELLENT PLUS CONDITION and Audibly NEAR MINT CONDITION ( see-pics)
LABELS Again both labels are in near perfect condition , very clean and bright with no writing, stickers or stains present and only a couple of very faint miss-aimed spindle traces to fault .KT tax code present on side 1 , super clean set ( see-pics) EXCELLENT PLUS / EXCELLENT CONDITION ! INNEROriginal plain white inner sleeve which has also survived very well, clean and bright with only some light creasing to fault , super example !
