Description

For auction is a rare genuine First U.K. stereo issue of the 1966 Beatles compilation - A Collection of Beatles Oldies. PCS 7016.

Many copies on eBay listed as first issues are nothing of the sort.

This is the genuine article with the black and yellow Parlophone labels and the YEX 619-1G/620-1G matrices.

The original Parlophone fold over sleeve in at least VG+ condition. Only very minor edge wear and discolouration- no writing or tears.

Genuine authentic inner sleeve, with adverts for other EMI records also at least VG+

Record - labels are close to Immaculate with only the slightest spindle wear. 1GL/3GP stampers.

Visually the record is VG+ with only very minor scuffs and hairlines. Sonically close to excellent. No sticks skips or jumps and only occasional light crackles in quiet passages.
