THE BEATLES: ‘A HARD DAY’S NIGHT’ – AN ORIGINAL 1964 UK BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE FIRST ISSUE STEREO VINYL LP – PCS 3058.
GUARANTEED ORIGINAL, FIRST ISSUE, COMPLETE, AND A HIGHLY RESPECTABLE EXAMPLE
First released in the UK on the 10th July 1964, the vinyl LP is on the traditional black and yellow Parlophone Label, with ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd’ label rim, and ‘Sold in UK…’ label text.
Both record labels are in very nice Excellent condition, bright, clean record labels, showing just a few light centre spider trails to each label, with no fading to the silver and yellow text
Side 1 matrix: YEX 126-1 and Side 2: YEX 127-1.
Side 1 stampers: 2 GG and Side 2: 1O.
Both sides of the Vinyl disc are in Excellent condition, clean and bright vinyl surfaces, showing a few light, non sounding, surface hairlines, but NO deep scratches or scuffs.
The album plays very well throughout with NO skips or clicks.
The album comes in an ORIGINAL ‘Use Emitex’ lined Inner Bag which is a nice example, no seam splits, just light age toning and light creasing.
And is housed in its ORIGINAL First Issue Laminated Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve, printed ‘stereo’ to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve, and with three flipbacks to the reverse.
The Laminated sleeve is a respectable example, and in Very Good Plus condition. The front panel is glossy, with only mild corner bruising to all four corners. The reverse panel is clean with just mild handling signs to the opening edge, and light staining to the opening edge, the spine edge and other edges are undamaged, all the three fold over flaps are also undamaged.
Overall a VERY CLEAN, HIGHLY RESPECTABLE and COMPLETE example of this ORIGINAL UK FIRST ISSUE STEREO Beatles album.
