The Beatles A Hard Day’s Night MONO PMC 1230 The only Beatles LP with 100% Lennon/McCartney compositions!
Matrices: XEX 481-3N XEX 482-3N
VINYL: Visual- Excellent/ Audio- Very Good++
On Playback nothing to hinder listening pleasure. Solid, punchy MONO sound from 1964. On ‘I’ll Cry Instead’, I maximised the bass and felt the vibrations!! A few clicks here and there only. A few minor surface scratches are visible. Nothing deep or affecting listening.
LABELS: ‘Parlophone ….’ rim text. Thinner font style. A few spindle marks but no sticker marks or writing, excellent, clean looking labels. KT embossed on side 1.
COVER: Standard Garrod & Lofthouse tri-flipback cover. Less than average handling wear and discolouration. A little edge wear where the record goes in but for 50 years old, very good.
Inner sleeve is original 1964/65 Emitex opaque lined. No rips or tears or writing, just a few creases.
A very respectable copy from about 50 years ago!
