THE BEATLES: ‘A HARD DAY’S NIGHT’ – AN ORIGINAL 1964 UK FIRST ISSUE BLACK AND YELLOW PARLOPHONE mono VINYL LP – PMC 1230

GUARANTEED ORIGINAL, VERY CLEAN VINYL, COMPLETE AND A VERY NICE EXAMPLE.

First released by Parlophone Records on the 10th July 1964, 50 years ago. this original 1964 UK first issue Vinyl LP for The Beatles ‘A Hard Day’s Night’ was the third UK Album release from The Beatles.

The LP is on the traditional Black and Yellow Parlophone Record Labels, with ‘The Parlophone Co Ltd’ label rim, ‘Recording First Published 1964’ and ‘Made in Gt. Britain’ label text.

Both record labels are in very nice Excellent Plus condition, super clean record labels showing just a few very light signs of play to the centre spindle holes.

Side 1 matrix is XEX 481-3N/Side 2, XEX 482-3N. Side 1 stampers: 6 GPT, Side 2: 6 GHG.

There is an embossed KT Tax Code visible on side 2 record label.

Both sides of the heavy vinyl disc are in superb Excellent Plus condition, high gloss vinyl, with nothing more than one or two light surface hairlines, there are no deep scratches or scuffs.

The LP plays extremely well with NO skips or clicks, or background crackle, a great powerful mono sound quality.

The LP comes in its original lined Use Emitex Lined Printed Bag which is in Excellent condition, no seam splits, just light creasing, age toning.

And housed in it’s original Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd Patents Pending picture sleeve which is in Excellent Plus condition, this is a very nice sleeve with minimal record impression to the front panel, the spine edge is undamaged and the wording perfectly legible, the reverse panel of the sleeve is very clean, with just mild signs of handling to the opening edge, all three flipbacks are undamaged.

Overall a very nice clean and complete example of this original 1964 Beatles mono album, now almost 50 years since it’s original release back in 1964.
