Vintage Authentic 1965 U.S. Original Picture Sleeve / 45 RPM Record
This is the East Coast version of the picture sleeve with the straight front tab opening
The Beatles - "A Hard Day's Night / I Should Have Known Better" Capitol Label - Catalog # 5222
This sleeve with the original record is a great addition to anyone's Beatles collection.
The picture sleeve is in Vg+ condition and with no rips or tears. The bottom seam is getting thin, and you can see light through it (see photo). The original price sticker remains on the both sides of the sleeve (List Price 98 cents - Special 84 cents) as it was used to seal the sleeve to prevent the record from slipping out of the sleeve by the record store.
The record is glossy and in Vg+ condition. It is from my personal collection and played on my vintage record player. No skips.
The record label is in Ex condition.
All vintage Beatles records and memorabilia are constantly rising in value.
Beatles picture sleeves (without the actual record) are going up in value due to their collectability. Rarebeatles.com website - (http://rarebeatles.com/sleeves/sleeves.htm) last updated February 2022, lists the picture sleeve value for this item at $250.00 in NM condition. This does not include the value of the record. This picture sleeve is in Vg+ condition so the value is less than $250.00 but is rising in value and collectability.
Record and Picture sleeve will be placed in a clear 7" record holder with cardboard inserts. It will be mailed USPS Media Mail.
