THE BEATLES - 'A HARD DAY'S NIGHT'/'THINGS WE SAID TODAY'
This rare AUSTRIAN pressing was one of only three of their original singles manufactured in Austria.
It dates from July 1964 on the green 'Sonderklasse' (special class) Parlophone label: O 28 521
Pressed from UK-supplied metalwork: 7XCE 17714-1N & 7XCE 17715-1NThe 'KT' code is stamped in both run-outs.
Housed in its original 'Tiroler' (Tyrolean man) die-cut picture sleeve.
CONDITION
Labels: VERY GOOD +
Both are undamaged with just a slight ring mark from storage.
Visual: VERY GOOD
The playing surfaces are clean and with some harmless wispy paper hairlines visible between halogen light. The only significant blemishes are three small 'bumps' in the vinyl itself which show on both sides but do not affect sound or play.
Audio: EXCELLENT +
Both tracks play with all of the power and clarity of the UK pressing and are without audible faults.
Cover: EXCELLENT +
A 1st-class, fully intact example with only a touch of shelfwear along the lower edge but no writing, tears or seam splits.
