Description
Original 1st UK mono pressing of The Beatles 3rd studio album (and one of their best in my opinion) “A Hard Days Night”.
3N/3N matrix endings and KT tax code on labels.
Matrix Numbers / Mothers / Stampers.
Side 1: XEX 481- 3N / 4 / APT
Side 2: XEX 482-3N / 4 / AAT
Visually the record looks well used and played. It has lots of small non feelable scratches, scuffs and hairlines under bright light. Visually grades VG-. It’s been fully play tested and plays well. It does have light background crackle/soft clicks in spaces between tracks and in quiet sections only. Side 2 is better with less background noise. The music is mostly clear and crackle free. Still an enjoyable listen and sounds pretty good. The play grade is VG overall on side 1 and around VG+ on side 2. No loud pops, loud clicks, no sticks, jumps or warping.
The sleeve is VG- only. Some staining/handling wear on the rear. The flip back on the bottom edge is torn about halfway along the bottom edge. Original shop this was bought from (Crease’s Music Store in Liverpool)
The original inner is VG with discolouration and split on one side. I’ll include a new poly lined inner.
Overall this certainly isn’t a perfect copy and plays with some background noise, but is still an enjoyable listen.
