Description

An original 1st mono press of AHDN on the UK Parlophone label from 1964. Matrix 3N/3N. Please note label design is consistent with 1st press - 'recording 1st published' is mentioned and 'Parlophone' in the perimeter text. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original mono G&L cover with flipbacks. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine.
Vinyl (Vg+) In nice condition and has only seen moderate use. Do expect a few marks either side, but nothing that seems to trouble this heavy-set mono original copy. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly VERYGOOD+ level of playback with one slight deviation. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with great clarity. A great player with not all that much to find fault with. Plays reasonably clean and certainly leaves you free to fully enjoy this classic. Deviation - you might detect a couple of ticks in a couple of spots. Priced to go and considering the vintage...a bargain...
Cover (Vg+) Nice looking front without major issue. The rear is exhibiting light tanning - but nothing excessive. Edge wear is light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Emitex (Vg) Aged and one edge split has been taped up.
