An original 1973 solid [140gram] EMI pressing pre-oil crisis and tube-cut. "Gramophone" text. Never write off a two boxer! These copies - particularly the earlier copies sound FANTASTIC. You just need to find a perfectly preserved copy. If you have unlimited budget...by all means try and snag a day 1 copy from 64 - but for those with more limited means...the example, here, will sound astoundingly good - better than, possibly, anything you've ever heard before [without having to take out a mortgage]! the combination of high production standards, excellent Emi pressing quality....you will get to witness it like you've never heard it before. Guaranteed to smoke pretty much anything else you put up against it. Super in all respects. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original cover. 
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) Not going to waste a huge amount of time with waffle, here. Basically this is the copy you always wanted! beautiful lustre - a couple of slight trace markings. Absolutely nothing that would get near these deep grooves. Plays perfectly from beginning to end. PLAYS mostly EX+ throughout with one slight deviation per side. You might get a slight crackle in a couple of isolated spots. A couple of slightest ticks in one spot per side. You will NEVER get a consistently cleaner rendition on ANY copy...even a brand new copy would struggle. They just did it better in the old days! All you need to do is stick it on the player, sit back, and gloat at how darn good this record sounds. You will get to fully appreciate the full gamut - amazing reproduction ..clarity like you never knew was possible. And lets face it there's a heck of a lot of audio hidden in those grooves. Why settle for second best? This is a BEATLES classic...snag yourself a perfect copy...before someone else beats you to it!
Cover (Ex+) Well this cover is in rather rude health. Front and back are perfect. Thats all well and good but, on the rear, a proper white back is highly unusual at 50 years of age. Superb - total timetraveller. Razor sharp openings. Hardly any edge wear. Spine 100% intact. Superb.
Inner (Ex-) Slightest ageing. No splits.
