Important mastering note for collectors
This is the well-known Mobile Fidelity mastering of A Hard Day's Night. Like other Mobile Fidelity Beatles LPs from this period, this pressing has a distinctive “smiley-face” EQ presentation, with increased emphasis toward the bass and treble and comparatively less emphasis in the midrange.
This is a characteristic of the mastering, not a defect in the record. Some listeners enjoy the more pronounced, detailed presentation, while others prefer the more balanced tonality of other Beatles masterings.
Please be aware of this mastering characteristic before purchasing. This copy is being sold as an excellent-condition example of the Mobile Fidelity pressing and is not being represented as tonally neutral.
A great copy for a Beatles collector or audiophile looking specifically for the Mobile Fidelity edition.
Please examine all photographs carefully, as they are part of the description and show the exact record and jacket being offered.
