Description
A 1st pressings of AHDN on the UK Parlophone label from 1964. Matrix 3N/3N. Stampers 1-APT/2-AMO. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an early cover printed by Ernest J Day. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve. So, 100% original and 100% complete..
Vinyl (Ex+) In Superb condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we could only make out a couple of very light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the audio comes across with prefect clarity. We didn't detect more than a couple of light crackles in the occasional spot the whole way through. Playback is absolutely superb. I do not believe there is a better way of hearing this BEATLES classic than on one of these original copies.
Cover (Ex) In great condition and has clearly been looked after carefully. The front is lovely and shiny and devoid of any nasty creases. The rear is pretty much totally free of the usual fading. Overall the cover maintains excellent rigidity and the spine is 100% intact. There's a touch of edge wear along the bottom edge - but even this is very minor. Please note there is a name written neatly on the rear [top-right].
Emitex (Ex) No splits. Light ageing.
