This Excellent UK 1st STEREO pressing dates from initial July 1964 release on the yellow/black Parlophone label: PCS 3058
Both labels have the ealriest 'chubby' label font and there is a 'KT' purchase tax coe on the side 2 label.
Matrices: YEX 126-1 & YEX 127-1
Stamper codes: 3/AA & 2/GL
Vinyl weight: 163g
Housed in a 'Garrod & Lofthouse' front laminated, tri-flipback cover with earliest front 'mid-sized' stereo indicator.
Complete with original rice-paper lined 'Use Emitex..' inner-sleeve.
CONDITION
Disc: EXCELLENT
Clean deep-gloss playing surfaces bearing no signficiant surface marks in strong daylight and only some harmless light marks & wispy hairlines from the inner-sleeve removal beneath halogen light. The sound quality is clean & unworn throughout with minimal low-level vinyl background between tracks but no clicks, pops or other such distractions.
Cover: EXCELLENT -
A clean & strong example with a glossy front panel laminate which shows a handful of 'thumbnail' wrinkles towards its opening edge but no other noticeable signs of wear. The rear panel is clean & unblemished and all flipbacks are intact. There is a 3.5cm split to a lower corner seam (as seen in the image) but the upper seam & spine are fully intact.
