Description

AHDN a 1st pressing from 1964 on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 3N/3N. Please note the labels exhibit the 'Parlophone' text around the perimeter and 'Recording First Published' near the centre - this is indicative of 1st issue. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover. Also included is the original Emitex inner sleeve.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen very light use. Under close inspection there are a couple of light marks either side - nothing remotely troublesome though. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are silent and the audio comes across with great clarity. There's a touch of light interference in a couple of isolated moments, but that was really all we detected. The sound quality is absolutely superb and it isn't all that easy finding a 1st press which has also seen such low-mileage. A beaut!
Cover (Ex-) Has been well cared for down the years. The front is nice and shiny and pretty much free of creasing - there is only one on the top corner. The rear is in good condition too and has seemingly avoided the worst of the fading that often afflicts these covers. Edge wear is light and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover still retains great rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) No splits, just a couple of light marks.
