Description

An original 1st press from Xmas 1964 on the UK Parlophone label. Matrix 1N/2N. Label states recording first publishing, perimeter text reads Parlophone, and they also still exhibit 'Sold in The U.K.' etc - all indicative of very 1st press. The vinyl comes housed in an original uncredited cover.
Vinyl (Ex+) In superb condition and has clearly only seen light use. Under close inspection we struggled to make out a single mark. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are nice and quiet and the acudio comes across with perfect clarity. Interference is practically non-existent. All we detected was a couple of crackles the whole way through. Brilliant audio coming off of this 45...
Cover (Ex) In great shape and has clearly been looked after carefully down the years. Lovely shiny uncreased front. The rear fares much better than most examples with very little ageing, one or two impressions, and a name in the top-right. Edge wear is nice and light and overall the cover retains great rigidity. A very nice specimen.
