Description
The Beatles 'A Hard Days Night Vinyl LP - 1964 Repress PMC 1230 MONO. Please see pictures which form part of this description.
Second pressing, 1966 until 1969. Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd. front laminated cover, with small “mono” on front. Black label with yellow logo and silver print. “The Gramophone Co. Ltd.” printed at the start perimeter print and “Sold in U.K. subject…” text. Tracing-paper-lined “Use Emitex” die-cut inner sleeve. With KT tax code on the Side 1 label.
This is a late 1966 variation, the typeset used on the labels changed from Sans Serif to Times New Roman. The layout of the track listing re-arranged to incorporate the differing type size, most notably the track ‘If I Fell’ on side 1 has a line all to itself. The side 2 tracklist also now has the periods (full stops) after each track removed.
EMI Pressing
Outer sleeve has some discolouration on the back. Laminate is sound (VG).
Inner sleeve with tracing paper lining, one small tape repair (G)
Vinyl showing little sign of wear (VG+).
Labels clean with little spindle wear.
The item has been owned from new and carefully used. It will be dispatched by Royal Mail Tracked in purpose made packaging. Selling to declutter. From a smoke free household. Thank you for looking.
