Description
Introduction
I am selling a nice first edition copy of Abbey Road. It has the following:
Misaligned apple logo on rear cover
No mention of "her majesty" song on side 2
Drain still on white road crossing
Produced by George Martin on labels
YEX 750-1 YEX 749-2 with mother stampers 4 LIL P & 1 A0H
Mdf in UK label
Printed by Garrod & Lofthouse
White patent inner sleeve
Sleeve
The sleeve is in nice overall condition but it is not mint. See pictures. It is nice and flat, still has good colour and laminate is shiny. No splits.
Top right corner the outer plastic laminate has come away a little. There is a hint of ringwear. The outer edge lip has some minor wear in the centre. The inner sleeve is white paper.
Overall a great sleeve and I would class it as EX+
Vinyl
Nice and shiny, plays through perfectly no skips or jumps. Great rich warm analogue tone and it is very clear. There is feint surface lines to the surfaces but nothing deep or causes any skips.
There is a slight crackle that is at the start of some songs but nothing too noticeable. Overall it is not mint but I would rank it as EX+ as the sleeve.
Auction
We'll be properly packed in a special vinyl mailer and inner sleeve removed from outer to prevent splits. Will come with a thick plastic outer sleeve.
Feel free to ask any questions and bid with confidence at my substantial feedback.
Happy bidding!
