THE BEATLES - 'ABBEY ROAD'
This 1969 UK 1st pressing dates from the day of release and is on the dark green Apple label: PCS 7088.
The side 2 label omits the 'Her Majesty' track listing.
Matrix numbers: YEX 749-2 & YEX 750-1
Stamper Codes: 3 AR & 5 PM
Housed within its fully laminated ‘Garrod & Lofthouse’ printed cover with the misaligned apple logo on the back.
Complete with its original and correct “UK PATENT NO.” plain white inner-sleeve.
CONDITION:
Disc Labels: VERY GOOD +
Apart from the trace of a small sticker having been removed from the side 1 label directly above the album title, the pair easily grade EX+ with just a handful of light spindle trails.
Playing Surfaces, Visual: EXCELLENT +
'Factory-fresh', deep-gloss playing surfaces which are virtually unmarked in both strong daylight with just a few barely visible wispy paper hairlines directly beneath an unforgiving halogen light.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT
This fine sounding copy is without any significant deterioration to the sound or any major faults. My single careful play-check at volume detected a touch of light static on the run-ins and some of the quieter passages but no clicks, pops, ticks or any other audible distractions.
Cover: EXCELLENT
A clean & vibrant example with rich colors and thick laminate. Just a touch of light storage wear but no significant signs of wear. The spine is clean and all of the text is present and readable.
Inner: EXCELLENT +
Clean & flat with no writing, seam splits, or tears.

Grading performed under strong daylight and a halogen desk lamp to UK ‘Record Collector’ standards. Play graded at volume, in its entirety on a properly set-up Rega deck with Shure cartridge. Care is taken to pack items for shipping. Discs are always removed and placed in replacement sleeves to prevent splitting to the originals.
