Description

Here for auction is a first press UK release of The Beatles Abbey Road LP from 1969. The sleeve is the miss-press with miss-aligned Apple logo on rear of sleeve. The sleeve is in excellent condition with the laminated sleeve being in very clean order. Only faults are that it has been stored tightly with other LP's vertically, and the spline, although perfect, is flat. Only other imperfection is 3 slight marks on the front of the laminated sleeve which are only noticable under very strong light and close inspection. The laminate cover is not torn or ripped in any way. As for the vinyl I have play tested it throughout and would use R.C. guide as a strong V.G.+ the stereo vinyl plays fine throughout with no jumps or skips, but under strong light hairline marks are visible but do not affect playback, and no sound deterioration is audiable through headphones, just light pops and crackles as you'd expect from a 47 year old record. Side 2 is not credited with Her Majesty as per norm on first presses. Matrix numbers are XEX 749 2 and XEX 750 1 bid with confidence, check my previous feedback. All records are shipped in stiff packaging. Thanks for looking.
