Description
Up for sale is this amazing sounding 1st pressing of ‘Abbey Road’ by The Beatles issued in 1969 in The United Kingdom. The record has -2 -1 in the matrix of the deadwax & has the true ‘hot mix’, tube cut from the original stereo analogue master tapes at Abbey Road. This is the mix that The Beatles & George Martin signed off on. I play tested the Lp today on my Thornes td 320 turntable & the record plays in amazing stereo sound. The record looks only played a few times on audiophile equipment. On this mix you hear nuisances & clear background vocals like you have never heard before. Paul’s bass playing really shines through on this mix. This 1st pressing mix is so much better than the 2019 remixed issue. The laminated cover is also in near mint condition, looking like bought new in a record store a week ago. The United States sure did not manufactured great looking covers. The record Is a 2nd issue with ‘Her Majesty’ listed on the side 2 label. Notice the dark green Apple labels. Also included is the original pantents inner sleeve in excellent condition. Thanks Frank
