The Beatles – Abbey Road 1969 Press UK LP No “Her Majesty”
Item: The Beatles Abbey Road UK LP 1969 issue pressing with aligned Apple on the rear of the sleeve. Comes with the original die-cut black inner sleeve.
Matrix Numbers: Side 1: YEX 749-2
Stamper Codes: 1 at 9 O’clock and PP at 1 O’clock
Side 2: YEX 750-1 side 2
Stamper Codes: 1 at 9 O’clock and RP at 1 O’clock
Record Weight: 143g
Sleeve: Garrod & Lofthouse Ltd Laminated sleeve darker sleeve later issues were lighter.
Inner Sleeve: Original black die cut inner sleeve.
Labels: Apple labels with no “Her Majesty” on side 2.
The Sleeve: VG Nice solid sleeve does show some wear and some laminate lift to the front of the cover. The spine most of the text is still present except for the catalogue number which has worn off. No splits rips or tears anywhere. Mild ringwear and some creases.
Inner Sleeve: G There is a 2cm seam split to the bottom and creases.
The Labels: EX Only slight wear around spindle area.
Record Visually Graded: VG+ There is 1 scuff mark (check photo for refence)
Record Playback: EX Solid crisp sound only slight surface noise in parts but mainly quiet.
Please note that the record has been professionally cleaned on a record cleaning machine with a non alcohol cleaning solution.
I use the following grading system:
M=Mint: The record/sleeve is brand new condition. Just like when first pressed and the record will have no deterioration in sound quality. All items including lyric sheet poster etc are in perfect condition.
NM=Near Mint: The record or sleeve may just marginally be off new condition and have the odd minor flaw.
EX=Excellent: The record shows signs of being played, but there is hardly any lessening in sound quality. The cover might show signs of wear.
VG=Very Good: The record has been played many times but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. Despite the odd occasional surface marks and the odd light scratch. The cover will shows signs of usage without any major defects.
G= Good: The record has been played numerous times and the sound quality has deteriorated and plays with distortion. The cover will have seam splits, scuffing of edges, discolouration and creases/ing.
F=Fair: The record has not been cared for properly and has loud surface noise but is still just playable. The sleeve will be torn, stained/defaced.
P=Poor: The record will not play properly due scratches and will have bad surface noise. The cover will be damaged and even have parts missing.
B=Bad: The record is unplayable possibly broken, which would only be considered as a collection filler.
I use a plus and minus signs +/- to show if marginally better or worse condition.

All items are packaged well to avoid damage. I never send out any parcel I wouldn't be happy to receive myself! I use cruciform mailers which are very strong. Any records are taken out of the sleeve/s and placed in a new poly lined inner sleeve and then placed outside the sleeve and then placed in a sealable sleeve for packaging. The record has been cleaned on a vacuum record cleaning machine with non alcohol cleaning solution. There is a big difference to the record after cleaning as it removes any dirt and grease and oils left after the production the record and generally looks a lot cleaner after cleaning. Not many sellers offer this level of service.
