Description
"First label, revised cover" 1st press of Abbey Road from 1969. No Her Majesty credits, dark green labels. The front cover has the drain showing, the rear cover has the Apple logo aligned with the text.
This is a reasonable copy, but to give everyone a fighting chance I'm starting at just 99p.
The fully laminated sleeve is in VG order - heavy wear to the spine (pictured), a 1.5cm tear to the opening edge, and general creasing at the corners and near the edges.
The vinyl plays pretty well with some surface noise, but there is some static/interference running from the end of Side 1 track 1 to about 15 seconds in to track 2. A few pops and tics in other places but overall the music comes over loud and clear. I'd grade it a conservative Good +.
Labels are excellent and it comes with a decent plain white inner sleeve.
Good opportunity to pick up a bargain UK 1st press of this Beatles classic.
