The Beatles – Abbey Road (1967, UK First Pressing)
Matrix: YEX 749-2 T1 / YEX 750-1 GR 2
UK first pressing of The Beatles’ legendary Abbey Road (1967), the “first label, revised cover” version.
Sound is classic early UK EMI: warm, natural, highly dynamic, with excellent midrange clarity and strong analog presence.

Labels: Dark green, whole apple on A-side, half apple on B-side; “An E.M.I. Recording” on two lines; small “33 1/3” moved to the left; ℗ year printed; B-side label without “Her Majesty” credits. Last two lines on Side B feature the alternate indenting style.

Cover: Fully laminated, front with drain showing, rear with Apple logo aligned with text. Condition VG. I would grade it EX if it weren’t for a 3" split on the spine (See photo). Otherwise, the cover is in very good condition.

Inner Sleeve: White

Vinyl: VG+
Despite a brief crackle at the beginning of Side 1 and a slightly longer noise at the beginning of Side 2, I have graded the condition as VG+, as the vinyl otherwise sounds excellent. -
Extras: Never stored in a smoking environment.
