Description
Original 1st UK pressing of the classic Beatles LP “Abbey Road” from 1969
Matrix numbers/Mothers/Stampers:
Side 1 - YEX 749-2 / 4 / LL
Side 2 - YEX 750-1 / 6 / LG
Revised sleeve with correctly aligned Apple logo on the back of the sleeve. No “Her Majesty” on side 2 label or sleeve.
Vinyl is in great condition. A few very fine small non feelable scuffs under strong light and one very small non feelable scratch on the edge of side 1. Record plays great throughout. A little light crackle on run ins and a couple of spaces between tracks only, and this is minimal. 2 or 3 barely audible soft clicks on the intro to “Come Together”. The rest of the music plays perfectly clear throughout with a lovely warm sound. Really decent sounding original copy. Play grade is EX to EX+. Sounds great!
The sleeve is EX overall. A little laminate lift near the spine edge as shown in the photos, but is otherwise in very crisp and clean condition.
Original plain black inner is VG+ with light general wear but no major issues.
Nice condition and great sounding 1st press.
