Description
Superb original 1st UK pressing of the iconic Abbey Road album by The Beatles.
This version is the “aligned” sleeve version (earliest sleeves had a slightly mis-aligned Apple logo on the rear). No Her Majesty on label.

Side 2: YEX 750-1 / 5 / GOT
Vinyl grades EX+ overall. Visually the record grades EX- with no obvious nasty marks or scuffs, but does have some fine sleeve removal marks under strong light and a couple of non feelable hairlines. It’s fully play tested and plays beautifully throughout with no background noise or crackle on the run ins or spaces between tracks with the exception of a tiny amount on the run ins to side 2 (Here Comes The Sun) and one very soft pop near the end of the track. The rest of the album plays without any issues, noises or other distortion. Wonderfully clear audio throughout 99% of the record and no major issues at all. Probably one of the best sounding 1st press copies I have had through my hands over the years.
The sleeve is EX+. It’s very clean and with barely any issues. Only fault is a very small amount of laminate lift near the spine edge as shown.
The inner is G+ only. No splits or tears and is the original white inner with the patent number, however it has been heavily written on with the original owners own “artwork”. I will however include a brand new black poly lined inner.
Overall this is a very nice sounding original 1st UK pressing.
