RECORD IS WARPED BUT PLAYS!
Vinyl visually grades VG with lots of very fine sleeve removal marks under strong light. No feelable marks. The main issue is that the record is visibly warped. I have the tracking weight set at 1.75g on my turntable (my cartridge has a recommended tracking weight of 1.5g to 2g) and both sides played without any skipping or jumping. This aside, the sound is actually very very good throughout. A little very low level crackle on the run ins and in between some of the tracks, and very occasionally in one or two quiet sections, but this is minimal. 2 soft clicks at the start of “Golden Slumbers”. Otherwise without issue. Genuinely a very nice sounding copy. The play grade was excellent (EX) overall. Mostly very clear audio and lovely warm sound. However I can’t guarantee that this will play on your own set up. If you can adjust the tracking weight then you should be fine. Video posted to show record playing at the start of side 1 and the severity of the warp. Please excuse the poor sound quality of the recording which was made on my phone. The bass doesn’t sound weird in real life I promise, my phones mic just doesn’t like it.
The sleeve is VG+ overall. A few light creases/general storage wear but no major damage or wear. No writing, no rips, splits, etc.
Original plain white inner is a bit tatty and is split. I have included a brand new black poly lined inner with this.
Overall this is a really nice sounding copy but is physically flawed due to the warp. This doesn’t cause an issue on my turntable and hopefully shouldn’t on yours either. If you do have a problem with this or the description above I do offer free no quibble returns.
Visual grade of vinyl is VG, play grade is EX. Sleeve is VG+
