Description

  • Here for sale is this original 1st pressing stereo Lp of ‘Abbey Road’ issued in The United Kingdom in the fall of 1969. The cover & record do not list ‘Her Majesty’ and the matrix # in the deadwax end in -2 on side 1 & -1 on side 2. The laminated cover is in very good+ condition with a few laminate lift creases & a bit of paper loss on the left side. There are no seam splits with a bit of corner tip wear to the lower right corner. The record is also in very good+ condition with light play wear. The record sounds pretty darn good on my Thornes turntable, playing all the way through with light background noise in some of the quite passages. Also included is the original’Patent’ inner sleeve.
