Description

Apple Records SO 383 Abbey Road The Beatles version 3 Queens litho.   In the late 1960's Record companies were converting from paper paste on photo covers better known as "slicks"converting over  to photo on board construction and the LP Abbey Road was the first on the new Apple label to have contracted such covers, there are three different covers as a result.   This LP is cover #3 paste on "slicks" to cardboard cover.  Apple Records also contracted a West Coast company to produce photo on cardboard covers  (see our other auction).  This LP does not have the song Her Majesty on the back cover songs listed as the company Queens Litho was supplied  un-corrected artwork.  This beautiful LP has no edge wear, no seam splits, clean and bright, factory breathe holes present, super nice!!
