Description
Artist: The Beatles
Title: Abbey Road
Format: Vinyl LP
Label: Apple Records – PCS 7088 (Stereo)
Country: UK
Year: 1969
Pressing: UK 1st Pressing (Label with no “Her Majesty”, but song appears on record)
Matrix / Runout:
• Side One: YEX 749-2
• Side Two: YEX 750-2
Condition:
• Vinyl: VG+ – Retains a strong shine with a few hairlines and 4 visible scratches on the inner tracks of Side 1, which produce some clicking and popping but no skips or jumps. The rest of Side 1 plays great. Side 2 plays excellently, with only a faint, almost unnoticeable crackle.
• Sleeve: VG+ – First issue sleeve (revised without misaligned Apple logo) with light wear and aging. Spine and edges in good shape, minimal creasing.
• Inner Sleeve: Generic white inner sleeve (not original)
A solid UK first pressing of the iconic Abbey Road LP with the correct early -2/-2 matrix numbers and label variant. A great player copy with only minor audible flaws and strong overall presentation.
