Hi, This LP was sourced directly from an Ex-Emi Sales Rep who has recently off-loaded their Beatles collection. If you are interested in any of the other Beatle's titles in this period as factory samples in this kind of condition just let me know and I'll see what I can do....
An original 1978 factory sample promo copy of Abbey Road on Apple Records. Matrix 4/3. Label design is precisely consistent with a 1978 issue. The heavy set vinyl comes housed in an original Garrod & Lofthouse cover with promo EMI Records stamp on the rear [this is a factory stamp - not a sticker]. Also included is the original Emi inner sleeve date coded to February 1978. So, 100% complete and 100% genuine. And absolutely in the finest condition you could possibly hope for...
Vinyl (Ex+/NM) In incredible condition and please note we almost never this grading level as it is almost impossible to attain. This LP has clearly been stored in great condition for most of its 40 year life. Clearly this copy has seen only the very very lightest of use - evidence..waste wax in the spindle hole and almost no spindle marks. Under close inspection we can only see one slight mark - but is very superficial and will not feature audibly. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at east, EXCELLENT+ level of playback. Again, don't under-estimate this level - it is full tested and fully graded properly to the highest level. Interference is non-existent. There is absolute silence behind all audio. Literally we didn't detect more than two crackles the entire way through...impressive! FINAL UPGRADE.
Cover (Ex+) In absolutely superb condition borderline factory fresh. Shiny as anything front and back with only a couple of tiny creases. There's no dulling too the images at all. All colours are vivid like the day it left the printers. Edge wear is super-light and the openings are still sharp. The spine is 100% intact. Importantly the cover retains perfect rigidity and lies totally flat. A beautiful example and one that will never better..
Inner (Ex) Unaged with no markings or creases. One side split has been neatly repaired with tape. Otherwise aok.
