Description


An original 1st Uk press of AR from '69. Matrix 2/1. No Her Majesty on the labels indicating absolute 1st press. The heavy-set vinyl comes housed in an original laminated cover with ALIGNED apple logo....1st pressing...really nice condition. Near master heavy EMI pressing. Q-Q-Q-uality. We are shipping in a 1969 patents applied for inner. Correct for the period and Emi - but I think unlikely it originated with this title [Fyi].
Vinyl (Ex/Ex+) In lovely condition and has only seen light use. Labels imply really very little use. Under close inspection I could only make out a couple of slight marks per side, and one very superficial trail nothing troublesome. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an at least Excellent level of playback. A  super specimen - basically the copy of your dreams. ..Much much better preserved than the average copy that surfaces. In fact - I would say this is about as good as you can humanly go with AR. THe 1st pressings are just dreamy - and when you snag a really well looked after copy...man...they just rock. Practically perfect. All I could detect was a couple of crackles in one isolated spot per side. I would argue that i highly unusual. . It is superb for 99% of the recording. Even those super fussy tracks side 2 are playing SUPERB. Think about that or a second....what are the odds of that consistency level??. It has only seen very light use - that is the only way to have survived in this kind of amaing condition over this period of time.. Highly recommended - and consistently a top level performer. 
Cover (Ex-) A really smart looking cover - many are going to be looking a bit beleaguered after 50 years use. But this one is showing little sign of wear or creasing.. Clean surfaces with just the odd light indentation . Minimal edge wear. The spine is 95% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Very nice.
