Description
This is a limited release, half speed master, Japanese pressing of the Beatles last studio album Abbey Road. FMSL 1-023. I believe it was pressed in 1980. The pressing has been taken from the original master tape that the band recorded on and not from a second or third or fourth generation copy as is the case for normal pressings. Half speed mastering by Stan Ricker, pressed on super high definition vinyl for superior sound and extended life and placed in a static free inner sleeve. As a result the sound fidelity is a noticeable improvement on the normal release. The sleeve is in good condition and the album itself is in excellent shape. It has only been played once, to record it on cassette tape, on a good quality turntable. I'm selling all my vinyl as I haven't owned a turntable for 20 years and don't expect to own another. I have no idea what it's worth so up for auction it goes. Happy bidding.
