Description
Here we have The Beatles LP: Abbey Road. PCS 7088 released 1969.
This release is the one after the first issue. It has the same label as the first issue but has a revised cover. The picture of the apple on the back of the sleeve is no longer misaligned.
There is no 'Her Majesty' on the labels or back of cover. The drain is still visible on the crossing. There are no flaps on the back of cover. There is a small P inside a small circle on the labels. The black inner sleeve has one label opening and is smooth on the outside and rough on the inside.
I have cleaned the record on my Okki Nokki One cleaning machine. This removes all the dust and any dirt that has accumulated deep in the grooves and really improves the sound.
I have placed the record in a new anti-static, anti-scratch sleeve. Original inner sleeve is included, of course.
Released in 1969.
Matrix: Side 1: YEX 749-2 Side 2: YEX 750-1
The vinyl is in mainly excellent condition. Side one has no surface marks and plays perfectly all the way through with no surface noise. Side two has a couple of light surface marks, but these don't make any noise. Thee is some crackle at the start of side two and occasional light surface crackle in a few places.
The cover is excellent. laminate is solid all over, good glossy sheen. No shelf wear and good solid spine. In fact, it's probably closer to near mint.
The inner sleeve is the original black one and is in near mint condition.
The record labels are sound, No names or stickers and no visible spindle marks.
All items are honestly described and packaged very securely. I operate a no quibble refund policy in the unlikely event you wish to return the item. Free returns.
