The Beatles: ‘Abbey Road’ Picture Disc


The very rare, limited edition original 1979 Dutch import Picture Disc pressing LP in die cut laminated picture sleeve with poly inner.


Released by Apple / EMI Holland in January 1979.


Catalogue number: 5C P062-04243


There is a yellow circle with the words ‘Limited Edition’ printed on top right of front cover.

‘Side 1’ and ‘Side 2’ indicators printed above Beatles on each side of the disc.

Matrix / Runout numbers: YEX 749-4 and YEX 750-3 (these are very hard to see).


Condition (Visually Graded):

The condition of the picture disc is Mint. It has been stored for 40 years.

I have owned it from new, and it has never been played.


If you buy with the intention to play it… I cannot guarantee how it may sound (please note: picture discs have inferior sound quality to standard vinyl pressings).


The sleeve is in a Very Good condition.  However, there are some very small marks and some creasing (more noticeable on the rear – see images).
