1st. Press Alignment, No Her Majesty Drain Cover EX
THE BEATLES Abbey Road (1969 UK first issue 16-track LP without 'Her Majesty' credit on sleeve or label, fully laminated picture sleeve. Rare original UK first press from 1969 UK dark green Apple label, 16-track MONO LP with An E.M.I. Recording” text on two lines and small “33 1/3” text moved to the left side. Publishing year printed with small copyright symbol (p) label credit. The sleeve is drain cover, in EX condition. Only some copies were packaged with a die-cut black inner sleeve. This copy has an Apple die-cut black inner sleeve. A highly respectable EX copy of this most sought after MONO original!

Vinyl: (Audio - Play Tested both sides): Plays back EXCELLENT! NO skips! Visually graded at EX. A few minimal light hairline surface marks visible under bright light. Minimal crackle in a couple of spots. No heavy noise, clicks or pops. No any deep surface marks. The record has retained its lovely clean sheen. No any surface marks. The record has retained its lovely clean sheen and the vinyl sits flat on the turntable. I have listened to both sides of this album and there are no jumps, skips, sticking or warps. Seems, that this album has been played very carefully no more than a handful of times.
Cover: EXCELLENT! Minimal ageing wear is visible but nothing detrimental to its overall appearance. The most notable wear on the front is a crease in between the tree lines (just right of center). A handful of tiny creases to the laminate scattered around the edges plus very faint outer ring shaping. The rear is in perfect condition, hasn't outer ring wear, only a couple of small creases to the laminate. Colors are clear and vivid, spine is in excellent condition, fully readable.Labels: EXCELLENT+! Dark green, clean labels with no writing, marks or tears, minimal spindle scuffing around center hole. Еxcellent condition. The label does not have Her Majesty credit on the side 2! As far as I can see, there are slight spindle marks around the center holes visible in bright light that lead me to believe that this album has been played very carefully and not many times.
Inner sleeve: Excellent+! Only some copies in the beginning were packaged with a die-cut black inner sleeve, this copy has an Apple black inner sleeve.
The Beatles - Abbey Road. An amazing studio album by the band, unfortunately and the last of their recording career, although it was released before their album Let it Be.
