Description
A nice, solid original 1969 UK copy of the seminal ABBEY ROAD LP by THE BEATLES. Released on the Apple label with the Parlophone catalogue number PCS 7088. This is an early pressing without ‘HER MAJESTY’ on the Side 2 label. The matrix numbers are: Side 1: YEX 749-2 and Side 2: YEX 750-1. Mothers and stampers are: Side 1 – LM 6 & Side 2 – PA 4. The vinyl is very strictly graded as VG- with the typical wear you might expect for an album that is over 55 years old. The disc has quite a few light marks and scratches but it plays through well without any jumps, skips, sticks etc but with some clicks and background noise. See the photos for condition of the Garrod & Lofthouse sleeve which has some laminate lift and spine wear, and also the labels – the label for side 2 has a fairly unusual prominent ridge. The cover is the version with the thick inner flaps. A very decent copy of this great record.
