The Beatles Abbey Road SO-383 Canada, Apple label. What's interesting about these early pressings is that they omit the song "Her Majesty". This copy is early as it does not have the song listed - see picture. Cover is very nice with no markings, it has some history. On the inside of the cover is a well printed initial, B; and a date 5/12/70 which is probably the date this album was first bought by the purchaser named "B", May 12, 1970. You can't see this writing unless you are peering inside the cover. This is good history for this record and adds interest rather than taking away anything in a negative light. Front cover has Printed In Canada Litho which is standard on all the old 60's Capital records. Back cover has distributed In Canada by Capital Records Canada Ltd. It's the Apple label distributed by EMI / Capital on behalf of The Beatles Apple recording. If you are new to buying old records by the Beatles, the last 4 studio albums from the White Album to Let It Be are on the Apple label and use this label until 1975; (So do a number of post 70 compilations) Then they revert back to Capital labels like the rest of The Beatles catalog. It costs more to buy the 1st edition records with the original cover and record label but it's worth it knowing you own the true deal and not a subsequent re release.

The vinyl is very nice condition. There is superficial markings but nothing serious. This is not the very first pressing, but it is still the 1st edition run, early enough to exclude the last song as mentioned above. I will combine shipping of multiple items into a single rate delivery which I'll calculate using the Canada Post web site. You can as well by using about 1 pound for 1 album which includes the packaging, then add half a pound for each single LP.
