Description

The Beatles Apple Records 1968 Pressing White Album Low Number 0046734

Offered is this 1968 Pressing of The Beatles (A.K.A. The White Album) The overall condition of the vinyl is VG to VG+ but the vinyl still has the original sheen. The labels are beautiful with no fading or discoloration. The cover is VG (I usually repair any splits using an archival tape, but since this is part of a collection I obtained, I decided to leave the decision to the buyer. Mostly because the number is very low 0046734). No signatures, writing or other foreign markings on the gloss cover. Cover is glossy and beautifully aged. All 4 photo inserts of John, Paul George & Ringo are included, they are clean and bright, and does not show any handling wear, foreign marks or pin holes and have been well cared for. Poster has the normal fold lines and creases, no tack holes or tape marks or ink. Standard embossed title on the front cover above stamped number 0046734. Record labels: "Bungalow Bill" instead of "The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill"; "Obladi Oblada" instead of "Ob-la-di Ob-la-da”; "Rocky Racoon", missing the "c" in Raccoon and Why Don't We Do It In The Road - no question mark. The albums are in the original plain white inner sleeves that they came with. A very nice example at a very conservative opening bid.

But that’s not all, to round off this lot I am offering a special bonus, I am including something very special in the form of photographs taken in 1968 of The Beatles.

1) Trident Studio of John, Paul, and George gathered around George Martin as they work on an arrangement.
2) Trident Studio of John on guitar with Yoko conversing with George Martin.
3) The Beatles with Capitol Record President, Stanley Gortikov right after the signing of the Apple Records contracts at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in Hyde Park, London.
4 & 5) The Beatles doing an impromptu performance at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in Hyde Park, London.
6). Paul in the studio on bass.
7. John laying on the studio floor recording “Revolution.”
8). George Harrison gets a haircut at the studio.
9 & 10) Twickenham Television studio, The Beatles Rehearse for the David Frost Show.
Each photo measures 11x17 and are in stunning black and white.
