The Beatles, BEATLES FOR SALE RARE 1965 2nd PRESSING LP WITH I'M A LOSSER LABEL ERROR – Cat No, PCS 3062.
First released on the 4th December 1964 as a rush release for Christmas, this is a 2nd Pressing from 1965 on the traditional Black and Yellow Parlophone Labels, with ‘The Gramophone Co Ltd’ label rim, and ‘Sold in UK…’ label text, with the additional rarity of the label error for I’m A Loser, spelt as I’m Losser, this label error can only be found on 1965 second pressings of this album..
Both record labels are in very nice Excellent Plus condition, bright, clean record labels, showing just a few light signs of play to the centre spindle holes, with no fading to the Silver and Yellow text
The matrix’s are the same as the original 1964 issue. YEX 142-1. Side 2. YEX 143-1.
Side 1 stampers. 1 R P. Side 2. 5 M H.
Both sides of the LP are in superb Excellent condition, clean and bright vinyl surfaces, showing just a few light, non sounding, surface hairlines, but no deep scratches or scuffs.
The LP it plays with a powerful sound quality through all tracks without faults.
The LP comes in a ‘Use Emitex’ lined Inner Bag, and is housed in its original Issue Laminated Garrod and Lofthouse gate-fold sleeve, printed with outlined stereo to the top right hand corner of the front of the sleeve, and with two internal flip-backs in the centre gate-fold. The Laminated gate-fold sleeve is a very nice example, and in overall Excellent condition, no tears or damage just the usual handling signs, corner bumps and a couple of laminate creases.
