Description
The Beatles 'BEATLES FOR SALE' First 1964 Pressing *EXCELLENT PLUS VINYL!!!!!*
On auction here, is perhaps one of the RAREST Beatles Stereo pressings, their fourth studio album from 1964 'BEATLES FOR SALE'!!! This particular pressing features VERY low stampers on both run out grooves of 1/GP and 2/GH, along with its correct laminated flipback gatefold sleeve!!!!
The laminated gatefold sleeve would certainly grade as VERY GOOD PLUS!!!! Very little wrong with this example, still nice and square with no discolouration, some very light laminate peel at the top front of the sleeve, but otherwise is outstanding, this is certainly a sleeve which is notorious for turning up in trashed condition, however this one has been very well looked after, with only VERY minimal wear!!!
The disc is a very clean and unmarked, with perhaps only a select few of the LIGHTEST hairlines present when viewed under a bright light!!! A lovely deep glossy shine is present too indicating very little play, a visual grading of EXCELLENT would apply. The audio is fantastic, very clear with no hint of distortion on any track and would certainly grade a strong EXCELLENT PLUS!!! Labels are stunning with just a couple of light spindle trails on each side, and would easily grade as NEAR MINT MINUS!!!

Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality.
Near Mint (NM) The record looks brand new with no scuffing or any deterioration in sound quality and only the smallest hint that its ever been played. The cover and any additional extras are clean, crisp and with no wear whatsoever.
Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair (F) The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
