Item description
This is the rare, first issue UK Parlophone Label **EXPORT ONLY** Vinyl LP for The Beatles V1 Album, first released in 1965 for the **EXPORT MARKET ONLY** and not available to purchase in the UK.
This RARE 1st Issue UK EXPORT Vinyl LP is on the traditional Black & Yellow Parlophone label, with 'Gramophone Co Ltd' label rim, 'Made in Gt Britain', and the export catalogue number ‘CPCS 104’ printed to both record labels, and without the usual ‘Sold in UK subject to re-sale price conditions’ label text statement as the album was issued for Export purposes only outside of the UK.
Both sides of the record labels are in very nice Excellent Minus condition, bright unfaded record labels, showing several signs of play to the centre spindle holes on both sides.
Visually both sides of the heavyweight Vinyl disc are in Very Good condition, the vinyl surfaces show several surface hairlines and a few light surface scratches. There are no deep scratches or scuffs.
The Official side 1 Export matrix is YEEX 112-A15/ and Side 2: YEEX 113-A15.
Side 1 stampers are: '1R, and side 2: 1R.
There is an embossed KT tax/price code to the centre of the side 2 record label.
The album comes in its ORIGINAL Lined ‘Use Emitex…’ Inner bag which is respectable example showing inevitable mild creasing and age toning, and a 2”split to one edge.
…And is protected in it’s ORIGINAL First Issue Garrod & Lofthouse Laminated three flip back sleeve printed with the export catalogue number ‘CPCS 104’ to the reverse of the sleeve.
The sleeve is in Very Good condition. The front panel maintains it’s high gloss shine, with only mild record indentation and a couple of creases.
The reverse panel of the sleeve shows age yellowing or age toning, and a small tear to the opening edge, the two edges and spine edge are free from splits..
The album plays Excellent through all of the tracks, with just mild background crackle on some, not all of the tracks, with no skips.
Overall a respectable example of this rare and seldom seen FIRST ISSUE Beatles 1965 UK STEREO EXPORT Album.
