Description

       Here is a nice copy of The Beatles' LP "Yesterday And Today" on Capitol Records T2553 from 1966. This copy has the famous "Butcher Cover" underneath the trunk cover. The trunk cover is seen in my photos.
        In a strong light and holding the cover at a certain angle you will see a faint image of Ringo's black shirt that he wore under his white smock. The black shirt appears as a sort of triangle. That's the original Butcher Cover which Capitol pasted over with the trunk cover.

      This is an unusual copy in that the "trunk cover" is partially still in its original shrink wrap, but I am grading it as VG++, because of a small 2" split at the bottom right corner, some aging and a small tear on the back cover.
      This is a legitimate Butcher Cover Paste over from 1966.
      The vinyl plays extremely well. I play tested some of the LP. I have to grade it somewhere between Near Mint and Mint. There was one "click" BEFORE the music began and then no noise whatsoever on either side!
      So many of these Butcher Covers are now in the hands of collectors that they are getting very hard to find, especially 58 years after they were released!
