Description
• Beatles album issued in North America in December 1964. Released as the alternative to Beatles for Sale, it was the band's fifth studio album culled by Capitol Records in the US from the Beatles' EMI releases.
• It remained at number 1 for nine straight weeks from January 9, 1965 and was the top selling non-soundtrack LP based on Billboard's year-end chart for 1965.
• Original pressing comes with rust colored "Join the Teen Set" Capitol inner sleeve included.
• In original opened shrink-wrap with price sticker remnant on back.
• Grading based on visual inspection and close listening, not by pro rating company. Very good clear sound and overall remarkably good physical condition with some smudges on shrink-wrap and very minor shelf edge wear typical of an album of this vintage. See photos. (The shrink-wrap makes a difference!) Album kept in storage for almost 60 years.
