Description
Here we have a rare original copy of The Beatles' Beatles '65 album from 1964. This album was released in December of 1964 and contains some of the band's best Beatlemania material. This particular copy is a 1st issue mono pressed on the black 'color band' Capitol labels. I'm not sure if it's a Scranton press, but it certainly looks like one with the small ring around the spindle hole. The record is in VG+ condition with some light surface scratches and light scuffs here and there. There is a defect in the vinyl on Side 2 Track 4. It looks like something was embedded in the vinyl when it was pressed. I've played the record multiple times and it seems to not affect play. The cover is in VG+ condition with most of the shrink wrap still intact. It is mostly missing alone the left hand side of the cover. The shrink is also torn on the back. It looks as though the cover got a little wet at some point with some apparent water damage along the bottom of the cover. An original Capitol company sleeve is included with the album.
